MAN 1 Pekanbaru Research Team Wins Gold and Silver Medals at WICE 2022
The Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 1 Research Team in Pekanbaru City, won gold and silver medals at the World Invention Competition And Exhibition (WICE).This prestigious event was held by the Indonesia Young Scientist Association (IYSA) in collaboration with SEGi College Subang Jaya Malaysia.WICE 2022 is a platform that accommodates young researchers in the implementation of learning outcomes which are attended by student representatives from various countries.Head of MAN 1 Pekanbaru Norelinda said, the MAN 1 Research Team of Pekanbaru City who participated in an international research event in Malaysia departed from Pekanbaru on September 25, 2022. Their departure to Malaysia after it was declared that the committee passed the final event of the World Invention Competition And Exhibition.
The head of the MAN 1 Pekanbaru research team also participated in the final presentation for the Life Science, IT and Robotics categories."Thank God, our students won gold and silver medals. This is a proud achievement because our students won medals in events attended by representatives from various countries. This is an opportunity for us to continue to innovate and excel on the national and international stage," said Norelinda in Pekanbaru, Friday (30/9/2022).Norininda conveyed that the achievement of two medals for the MAN 1 Pekanbaru research team was announced by the committee on September 29, 2022 during the WICE 2022 peak event in Malaysia.
The MAN 1 Research Team of Pekanbaru City who won the gold medal continued Norelinda on behalf of Quinadine Nasywa Azzura, M. Hazel, Aika Nadhira, Muhammad Putra Sirrhasri and Rifqi Rizqilah. While the team won silver on behalf of Tiara Aufa Azaria, Nailah Putri Erika and Nadine Bintang Callista."Congratulations and success for the MAN 1 research team of Pekanbaru City and the supervisor for the achievements achieved, hopefully they will always make the best achievements for madrassas and Indonesia," said Norelinda.
The gold and silver medals donated by the MAN 1 Pekanbaru Research Team received appreciation from the Head of the Riau Ministry of Religious Affairs Mahyudin.According to him, the achievements achieved by the MAN 1 Pekanbaru Research Team not only made Riau and madrasah proud but also the name of Indonesia in the international arena."To the teachers and students of MAN 1 Pekanbaru, continue to excel and innovate. Don't be satisfied with this achievement. On behalf of the Regional Office of the Riau Ministry of Religious Affairs, we are proud of the achievements of MAN 1 Pekanbaru which boasts the great name of madrasah and Indonesia.
